Andong

If you are visiting Yogyakarta I think you should try going around the city by riding a traditional vehicle called Andong.

Andong is a four wheeled carriage drawn by one or two horses. The front wheels are smaller than the rear ones. The driver is called "Kusir". The Andong is equipped with a quaint sounding bell and two antique lamps on either side. The rhythm of the jog of the horse provides a relaxing atmosphere.

Historically, noble families are the only social class to use Andong.
